I'm busy on Sundays at the moment (Yiddish classes with Yak!), so let's meet during the week. Many of you already know Hummus Place at 1st Ave. and Ave. A from Hebrew meetups. Israeli food, kosher obviously. They have a nice labane cheese with za'atar. http://www.hummusplac...

We will be in the back room and I'll wear a cowboy hat. I will also bring one Yiddish-related "free gift" that you can win!

Kimt un ret mit undz!

    •  This was one of the BEST meetups I've ever been too. The people were all nice, they were competent in and serious about Yiddish, the food was delicious, and I learned some new things and verter, to boot. I also got ideas for future Yiddish learning because Yak, the teacher, was there. He is personable, knowledgeable, un a guter yiddish-reder, and might give future appropriate classes! Elizabeth is an imaginative (and generous)organizer. Zeier gut.
    •  I really enjoyed the opportunity to practice my very rusty Yiddish and meet new people.
